Elegance and intelligent engineering combine in ALT (All Linoleum Table), a thoroughly innovative table for both office and home environments. Designer Keiji Takeuchi uses linoleum to its full decorative and functional potential in ALT. Takeuchi was inspired by the rolls of linoleum found in Faust’s workshop to design a self-supporting conical hollow table base from Faust’s hero material.

ALT Table Stand in use
Featuring two base sizes, the ALT system offers a wide range of table configurations. The base can be used singularly for minimalist central-leg round or squared tables and desks, or in pairs for extended length meeting, dining or conference tables and elegant work tables. ALT creates graphic impact and offers opportunity for a strong colour statement in any room.
Weight tank for added stability
To construct the linoleum legs of the ALT Table, first linoleum is lined with a strengthening layer of bonded leather and then moulded into a hollow cone shape. Inside sits a portable tank. While empty, the tank is light, enabling easy transportation, and when full of water or sand, it provides a stable anchor for the table.
ALT Table variants
ALT table stand is available in two different sizes and as a single or double column leg. Our online configurator will automatically select the most suitable solution for your chosen table top size. The table can be optionally equipped with integrated cable management solutions to further extend its functionality and maintain its minimal good looks.
Cable management
The ALT system offers optional unique and discreet cable management detailing such as an integrated cable lid and cable tray to conveniently turn ALT into a functional table. These features include a cable tray and hole at the base of the stand for hidden cables, plus a linoleum-covered lid that sits flush with the table surface and helps guide cables where needed. These discreet details add functionality to the table surface, meaning ALT is a highly functional and effective choice for workspaces and meeting environments, ideal for offices and conference rooms.
Colour combinations
ALT comes in a rich variety of linoleum colours, offering a bounty of colourful opportunities to be explored. Customers can choose a striking monochrome effect or play with contrast and colour and mix the colour of their table base, table top and detailing.
Reusable packaging
A special packaging container has been designed to transport ALT table stands from our factory to their destination. After unpacking, the box is then retained and used over again by our drivers. This small innovation is another step towards developing the most sustainable making process possible.
